Cast Resin Dry Type Distribution Transformer
Cast resin dry-type transformers are widely used in local lighting, high-rise buildings, airports, docks, CNC machinery, and other places. Simply put, dry-type transformers are transformers in which the iron core and windings are not immersed in insulating oil.
Cooling methods are divided into natural air cooling (AN) and forced air cooling (AF). When naturally air-cooled, the transformer can run continuously for a long time underrated capacity. When forced-air cooling, the transformer output capacity can be increased by 50%.
Cast resin dry type distribution transformer is suitable for intermittent overload operation or emergency accident overload operation; due to overload and load voltage increase during overload, it is in the non-economic operation state, so it should not be in continuous overload operation.
Since cast resin dry-type distribution transformers have no oil, there is no fire, explosion, pollution, etc., so electrical specifications, procedures, etc. do not require dry-type transformers to be placed in separate rooms. Losses and noise have dropped to new levels, creating conditions for transformers and low-voltage screens to be placed in the same distribution room.
